What is VIA Agent exactly?

It’s an on-demand remote vulnerability management service.  You don’t need to install any software or hardware. All is done via our user-friendly portal.

What’s the difference between VIA Agent and other security products?

Security products such as firewall and anti-virus provide protection for your network whereas VIA Agent help you evaluate the effectiveness of those security products and assess your network from a hacker’s point of view.

Can VIA Agent help my site or server 100% secured?

No. There’s no such thing known as perfect security. However, VIA Agent can help you reduce a minimum 90% of known security threats.

Why do I need to run VIA Agent regularly?

There are 5,000 to 8,000 new vulnerabilities discovered every year and that means around 20 vulnerabilities are discovered everyday. You need to run VIA Agent at least ONCE a week in order to ensure ongoing effective security protection.

How is my scan report delivered or kept?

Only you with the username and password provided can access to the scan report via our AES-256 bit encryption link.

Will you disclose my scan report?

No. We will have to sign a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement before the service commenced.

Why do you need to verify my scanned IP address manually?

We don’t want people to misuse our VIA Agent for malicious purposes, thus, we will have to verify that the IP address indeed belongs to you and your organization and scan authorization form will have to be signed by you.
